Veteran Jacob George presents a personal narrative on the post-traumatic effects of war on soldiers, families and communities. After years of reflection on his experiences during the Afghanistan war, Jacob felt compelled to share his story to the entire nation. On May 1st, 2010 this US Army Sergeant and veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom, together with other veterans and friends, began a non-stop cross-country biking trek to protest the US war in Afghanistan. “A Ride till the End” (ARTTE) a collective of veterans and artists riding around the US was the first national level of direct action protest against the Afghan war led by veterans.
